Ft. Lauderdale Offsite Checkin FAQ
Cruise Customers with Ticketless Southwest Airlines reservations may now check up to two (2) bags for a fee of $20 per person with our offsite checkin service that will deliver your bags from the cruise ship back to the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Additional fees apply for additional, excess, overweight, and oversized bags. This prepaid service can be purchased online, by visiting the Bags To Go Counters at Terminal 1, Carousel #6 in the Baggage Claim area, or at Port Everglades.2.

| 1. | How much does it cost for this service?
This service, which must be purchased before embarking on the cruise, is $20 per person, and Customers may check up to two (2) bags each. Additional fees apply for additional, excess, overweight, and oversized bags. If applicable, such fees will be collected at the port by Bags To Go Representatives. |
| 2. | Where in Ft. Lauderdale is this service offered? This prepaid service can be purchased online, at the Bags To Go Counters at Terminal 1, Carousel #6 in the Baggage Claim area of the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, or at Port Everglades. Service must be purchased before embarking on the cruise. Weekend Hours of Service: Friday 4:30pm - 10:00pm, Saturday/Sunday: 9:30am - 3:30pm. |
| 3. | How long do I have to check my bag before my flight leaves? When disembarking, bags must be presented three hours prior to departure and are only accepted for flights departing after 11:45 AM. |
| 4. | May I have my friend check my bag for me?
All Customers must check their own bags in person and present a valid government issued ID at the time of checkin (Drivers License, Passport, etc.). |
| 5. | Can I check my bags if I have a paper ticket?
No. The reservation must be Ticketless (e-ticketed). |
| 6. | What if my reservation requires screening from a TSA agent?
To use the service, Customers must not be selected for additional screening by the TSA. A Customer may get a refund at the port if they are selected for additional screening. |
| 7. | What if my bag weighs more than 50 pounds?
Applicable “heavy” or excess fees will be paid by Customers when checking in at the port. Review our Baggage Policy for additional information. |
| 8. | How far in advance may I check my bags?
Bags To Go will accept pre-paid bags for flights departing after 11:45 AM from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, and will transport such bags from the cruise ship terminal to the airport. Bags must be presented three hours prior to departure. |
